The first time I saw someone make models is when I was in my mother's womb. After I was born, I watched my dad do it everyday, and I touched the tools as he worked. One time, I remember it so well, he told me not to touch the exact knife, but I wouldn't listen. After playing with it, everyone would have say, I nearly sliced my off finger. I can not even believe that I tried to fake it like nothing happened. After that, I became more interested in making models. I actually never knew that making models could be of any use for me, until now . I am currently an eighth grader, my first time taking IT (industrial tech) at school, I felt like heyy wait a second. Haven't I done something similar thing somewhere before? The answer is Yes! Scale modeling that I have made with for years! Scale drawings that we do in class fit with the directions given from the instructions. The tools, and everything fits so well together with scale modeling! Especially one time, when we were supposed to work on a project in class together, I impressed my partners with my skills. At the beginning when I first got the project, I instantly knew how everything worked out. I wanted to be the leader of the group, so I didn't hog everything to myself and also let the others express their ideas too. But in one particular place, special caution and steady hands were needed, which I had learned from doing modeling. Unfortunately, they didn't listen to me, so at the end I had to do it for them. They were proud of me. I once wondered, why I should do scale modeling? It has nothing to do with my future, and it was a waste of my time. However after this experience that I guess I'll never let this skill go.
